Thread: Windows wont boot up Shorten URL

So it's plain and simple. Windows will not boot up. I get to the Dell loading screen and after that there is a blank screen with blinking underscore at the top left. I tried typing anything in and it wont let me. The system I am using is Dell xps 400. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Are you able to boot in to Safe Mode or have you tried that yet ?

What have you been doing before this thing happened? Any error message?

Hi, I have just got an apple usb keyboard for my windows vista compter.

its a vga problem. try to boot your system in safe mode

If the safe mode is also not working then try to boot using XP CD.
