9600 GT Problems
•PC or Mac? PC (I built it)
•Processor? Intel Q6700 (2.66 x 4)
•System RAM? 4 GB DDR2 800 MHz
•Graphics card (make and model)? XFX 9600 GT XXX Alpha Dog Edition (Overclocked to 740 mhz)
•Operating system (eg. Vista, XP, Linux, Leopard)? Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
•Description of problem? There's a little yellow /!\ at the bottom of my screen and says "Display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered
display driver nvlddmkm has stopped working and has successfully recovered"
•When did the problem start? Ever since I built it
All my drivers are up to date, and it's really annoying.
also, when I'm playing other games like counterstrike or warcraft 3, the graphics are glitchy, and if I alt+tab like 10 times, the game finally stops glitching and runs smoothl

no drivers are drivers, firmware is firmware.
go to ur manufacturers website of the video card and look for the firmware.

Try using these drivers instead. Not only have I received an incredible performance increase, they are smarter too. Most games I have had a problem with, even after working fine were all fixed by switching to these drivers.
Remember to use driver sweeper in safe mode after you uninstall your GFX drivers then reboot and install fresh.
