    My name is Derek, I go by Daax on forum boards usually. You can call me either!

    I am A+ Certified in Computer Science as well as BrainBench Certified and would be glad to help anyone resolve issues!

    I'm 16, Love computers, have been programming and working with computers since age 8.

    I know C++ ( Certified ), C#, C, LISP, Python, PHP ( partial ), SQL, JAVA ( Certified ), Haskell, Ruby, and a little JavaScript.

    Wow, some of your skillset sounds like you could be of great use! Especially at that young of age! Keep it up!

    What is your opinion on Google's newly announced Dart initiative?

    To be honest, Dart seems like it could be a very effecient language, I checked out news and articles about it and from what it sounds like... It could be one of the really great tools that is meant for creating structured web apps.

    I also heard it has great and readable syntax, though I haven't really looked into it too much.

    Agreed -

    I have heard many bitching that they are just trying to 'imitate java' etc, but being someone who is developing some Android applications, I welcome this and think it fits in great to their lineup.

    Well anyone can say ANY language copies java, arduino for example: much like java, but used for a totally different reason. I've read into it over the last few days and Dart seems really promising!
